Shall I Judge or Not?

Am I being irresponsible by not judging the people I care about?

One word answer is NO! Unsolicited judgement is always bad, for everyone. Everyone carries an emotional baggage. Unless you know what is there in the baggage, you can never judge correctly. For example, a person may be acting irrationally because someone is very sick at home and he cannot stop worrying about that.

What about people who are younger to me and have less experience?

I do not have clear idea about it. I feel we can focus more on teaching them "what is right" than explaining why and how they are wrong. We can take incremental teaching approach.

Shall I never judge people?

You should judge people when they ask you for it voluntarily. This is when they open their emotional baggage and let you see inside. At this time, you will be in a good position to judge accurately and the other person will also be ready to take the criticism constructively.
